ZLF 335 Posted September 15, 2012 There was clear booing when our first sub was made. Any ideas what it was for?? My impression was disappointment at Jackson coming off as he was looking like our most likely scorer, but was it that or Holt staying on or morison coming on? Any views? Nexus_Canary 1,206 Posted September 15, 2012 Most deffinatly the choice to remove Jackson.Should have been Holt off Kane on
Legend Iwan 30 Posted September 15, 2012 My guess, and that is all it is being that I wasn''t at the game, was West Ham fans towards Steve Morison due to his Millwall connections.
Steady On... 0 Posted September 15, 2012 It was morisons connection to milwall but I''m sure someone can spin it into being about grant Holts weight or something.
Nexus_Canary 1,206 Posted September 15, 2012 lol, most definately Jackson coming off... I was there.
Steady On... 0 Posted September 15, 2012 Um, I was there too mate and it was most definitely morisons milwall connection. Unless you were booing The team on your own, which wouldn''t surprise me.
Baldyboy 1 Posted September 15, 2012 it was the bizarre choice of Hughton to take Jackson off instead of the tubmeister Holt!!

nutty nigel 7,902 Posted September 15, 2012 Surely this very easy to clear up ... Who booed and what for? Simples.[:D] It was quite clear on the tv just not clear where it came from. [:^)]
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,035 Posted September 15, 2012 Jackson did ok today but if people we boing his substition becase he off his running and playing off the shoulder of the last defender etc etc should remember that all of that counts for absolutely nothing and is a waste of time and energy if you''re offside for the vast majority of the time ,which he was. Morison made a huge difference when he came on against Spurs and it was right that Hughton gave him the chance to do that again?
Baldyboy 1 Posted September 15, 2012 GJL I think it was because Holt had been far worse than Jackson!!!

First Wizard 0 Posted September 15, 2012 Holt worked his balls off for us today, or did people not notice this?

Steady On... 0 Posted September 15, 2012 Holy was alright, bit his best, but people want to beat up on him because they''re stupid, I understand it perfectly. If you shouted at him today you don''t know what your on about and should be ashamed. End of.
Legend Iwan 30 Posted September 15, 2012 Fair enough, Nexus. Like I said, I wasn''t there. And in truth, I had hoped we didn''t have ''fans'' booing the team/player during a match four games into the season. But if you are correct I can only presume that is the case. Twitchy 0 Posted September 15, 2012
Holt worked his balls off for us today, or did people not notice this?
For real Wiz? Unless Grant got kicked in the stones time and time again for the cause I don''t see how.
Nexus_Canary 1,206 Posted September 15, 2012 Think if aimed at anyone it would have to be Hughton !
Mr Brownstone 0 Posted September 15, 2012 I sit in E block of the Lower Barclay right near the away fans and I didn''t hear a peep from the West Ham fans. To me it sounded like it was coming from the Snakepit/City Stand area. There was certainly no booing in my area, but there were more than a few grumbles at Jacko being the man taken off. kdncfc 28 Posted September 15, 2012 Nobody seems to have considered that he has travelled a lot of miles this week and was most likely taken off because he was tired. As ever Jackson worked very hard but never looked like scoring.
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted September 15, 2012 But someone must know. All this conjecture is bad for my nerves. Mr Brownstone pinpointed it. I knew I''d get some sense from E Block[;)] So you snakepitters and biscuit chasers.. who did you booooooo at[:^)]
Mister Chops 7 Posted September 15, 2012
Holy was alright, bit his best, but people want to beat up on him because they''re stupid
Let me try a different view:Holy (let''s call him Holt) was alright, not at his best, but people want to beat up on him because he held the club to ransom over the summer for a contract extension, and now he''s got it he hasn''t reciprocated by upping his game, or even playing at the same level he managed for most of last season. He looks half a yard off the pace and has started moaning at team-mates more than last season and one conclusion to draw from this is his appetite (on the pitch) may not be what it was.A bit more nuanced than "because they''re stupid", but perhaps you have a deeper insight on this. CambridgeCanary 0 Posted September 15, 2012 In the Jarrold the booing and shouting was very clearly and simply because people did not want to see Jackson go off

city4eva 242 Posted September 15, 2012 I sit in the middle of the lower barclay and it was def norwich fans (well the NFN ones that were booing), I couldnt work out why, the only person who done anything wrong today was hughton and his tactical inability
