Yes please, Emnes is absolutely class. Would be really happy if this came off, with the added bonus that we get Vaughan back again after a year. Would give Vaughan plenty of game time at Championship level and finally prove that he is over his injury problems.

I just have a feeling that Norwich are not 100% sure about his long term fitness.

Emnes is dreadful. A mate of mine is a Boro fan and can''t wait for him to go. He is lazy, selfish and has a terrible touch. Scored a few (tap ins) early in the season then went through long baron spells.

I''d rather have Vaughan any day.

Apart from not being sure what a baron spell is (something you do once a knight?), I think you find that you could take that description and apply it to most players.  There are plenty on here would say the exact same about Morison, Hoolahan and Martin yet the majority would disagree.   On WACCOE they say the same about Snodgrass.   We disagree.   Your mate is entitled to his opinion but it is not gospel for us to rely on.   I''ve long been a fan of Emnes.  He has great talent which flowered a bit at Swansea.  He is currently ok in a poor team.  I like him because I think there is great scope for improvement and not because of what he is today.

 

He destroyed Cardiff and gave us the ability to win promotion at Portsmouth.  He is capable of good things.

Anyway I''d rather trust a Boro season ticket holder (and his family) with no reason not to give an honest opinion on a player. Overrated, over hyped and no better than Jackson.

Started last season well but tailed off badly - sure he scored in most of the first 7 or 8 games last year. Has a bit of pace but not really sure he is better than what we have - Jackson scored 13 in our Champs Season and spent half the season on the bench!

Yep, I believe and refused the dental work about six years ago due to the problems in later life with lowered immune system. I also believe that amalgam fillings, crematoria and smelting-works poison us as mercury is one of the most toxic metals known to man. Silly me.....

Hughton was brought in to do a job so we have to let him do that job to see whether he is up to it. Let''s give him the time to succeed or fail. He was not my first choice but I''m willing to give him a chance.

Dont fancy Emnes but must admit I have been wondering about Wes. We seem to have an abundance of riches in midfield. I wouldnt be shocked if he

turned up at AVFC. Just hope we get a lump of cash if he does. Was talk of Hughton wanting to give him a new contract, gone quiet recently.
