If you need help, swallow your pride and call in Dave Stringer for advice. Then,(a) rest Fleming (he''s too battle weary - to say the least)(b) replace Edworthy with Helveg if he''s anywhere near fit enough to go 70 minutes(c) put Shackell in charge of organising and motivating the defence. He seems to be a born leader.(d) tell Green that if he does not take command of his area (especially with respect to crosses) & improve his distribution (concentration?),then you will rest him too and give the other two lads a chance to stake a claim.Now, remember Worthy, defensive organisation and discipline first, second and last (allied with ''fighting & scrapping''). No chance.[/quote] Link you are probably quite right about wasting my breath - but while there''s life in the Prem there''s hope; otherwise we may as well roll over. I agree. Saffri for Holt is another critical change to bring about defensive organisation. He is an established Moroccan international of good, proven quality. He needs to play for the rest of the season to bed himself in. I also think that a twin strike force of Dean & Leon is critical to defensive organisation in as much as they can give us better quality possession higher up the field. The problem here is whether we have 4 good enough midfielders. More breath wasted? Probably, but what to do? - OTBC! Worthy takes too long to learn. OTBC.
