nutty nigel 7,509 Posted August 16, 2012 Great to see Swindon and PKC return too, as well as all our regulars and I''m sure there''s more to come. I now have a really good feeling about this season. I''m well excited! For my selection I''m off to Denmark where they are already 5 games in to their season. FC Copenhagen have often been our friend in Rays Funds and they''ve started their season as well as ever : P5 W4 D1 L0 F13 A4. On Saturday they are at home to Brondby who haven''t started so well : P5 W1 D0 L4 F4 A8. FC Copenhagen v Brondby Home Win If anyone is reading this thread and can''t post for any reason please do make a selection and leave it on our facebook group page where I''m sure one of us will see it and put it up on here for you. If for some reason you can''t get on to here or facebook get the selection to me Canaryeddie@aol.com and I''ll post it for you.

lappinitup 629 Posted August 16, 2012 I think Nottingham Forest''s new owners made a very shrewd choice when they made Sean O''Driscoll their manager. He''s signed some excellent players for them and I expect them to do well this season. Conversley, I can only see another season of struggle for Bristol City so I think Forest will start off with a comfortable home win.Nottingham Forest v Bristol City......Home win.Good Luck Legend Iwan. [Y]And thanks nutty, you''re a diamond geezer for keeping this going. I''ll give you a tenner at the earliest opportunity. [:)]

Legend Iwan 30 Posted August 17, 2012 It has taken me a while to go through all the suggestions and make my selection, mainly because there was so many to choose from. So thank you - it really helped. I always had the idea if I ever got to make the weekly pick to try and really ''go for it'' but when you''re in charge, the desire to just win and add to the pot takes over. As such, I''ve gone for four results I think look as likely winners as can be predicted and two that, although may not be bankers, add a bit more to the total.Manchester City v Southampton Home win FC Copenhagen v Bronby Home winBarcelona v Real Sociedad Home WinVorskia Pltava v Dynamo Kiev Away winWest Ham v Aston Villa Away winSouthend United v Accrington Stanley Home win (my pick this week)Good Luck everyone, and thanks again for your picks.
