I originally left Norwich at the age of 3 but clawed my way back in 1986, ( mainly due to the fact I could get wembley tickets as i didn''t have a Norfolk post code!) Drinkell and Biggins were leading the line and I''m convinced Drinks could head a ball harder than most players could kick it. He also had a warm up ritual where he would knock the ball to the keeper a couple of times and on the third one he would belt it with al his might. I''m amazed he never hurt some of his own keepers.

I still think he''s the best striker the club has had- certainly in my time (run very close by Ashton) and so this is my tribute to the great man.

[Y]Good post by the way I have often wondered the relevance of some of these.

Mine is Rachael Goswell, Singer with legendary* Shoegazers Slowdive.

* Legendary to those who like early 90''s indie music, so not music journalists or anyone who wants to appear fashionable..

When I joined the message board, way back when, I thought I''d have an avatar that would last and picked the most famous Canary out there. It has lasted, but sometimes feel it''s a little effeminate, when really I want to project myself as a macho man !

Mine is legendary Pantera guitarist ''Dimebag'' Darrell Abbott, who back in 2004 was sadly shot and killed onstage by a deranged fan whilst performing with his new band Damageplan.

Mine is the corridor leading from the changing rooms out onto the pitch. The walls are lined with pictures of Norwich players which I guess is intended to intimidate opponents. There is an "On the ball city" plaque above the doors leading out onto the pitch.

My avatar is a sign I saw on a rubbish bin on Bondi Beach, NSW. In typical Aussie bluntness it says "Don''t be a tosser". I chose it because I am very childish.

Boston Red Sox baseball, win tonight and we''ve won the world series. As it''s an important game I''m staying up to watch, starts 12.30, will finish around 3.30 am but will be worth it if we win [:)]
