Skerritt 0 Posted June 9, 2012 We now have what seems to be a lot of quality in our defence and although it leaked a lot of goals we have some positives to take out of it. On Ayala''s debut he looked very solid and seemed to lose a bit of confidence and then got inured but looks like he can bounce back and become a successful canary. The Norfolk Cafu looked very good in the middle and although looked a bit clumsy at right back could really bond well with the young centre backs. Ryan Bennet has been spectacular since signing and we have had many more clean sheets with him and for me should be the first name on the team sheet with John Ruddy and could be a future star with Ayala but for now I would like to see him in the middle with Russ. Ward looked promising in some matches like the 2-2 draw with Everton but made a lot of mistakes which cost us dearly such as a Liverpool. Barney for me should be sold as he doesn''t look good enough for the prem but is a very solid championship player. Mark Tierney was brilliant until he disappeared and Adam Drury can supply fantastic cover. I would like to see a new right back come in or bring back Kyle Naughton but if cover is needed Russel could go to right back or even Elliot Bennet can cover there. If Hughton brings in Davies he would pair up well with Ayala so we could rotate and i''m sure he will bring in a new full back and hopefully we can get Ruddy the clean sheets he deserves. AndyCanary 0 Posted June 9, 2012 I remember seeing Ayala get interviewed after a game (can''t remember which it was) he was very critical of himself and pointed out that he was disappointed that he''d had a bad game.I found it very refreshing.I reckon I am the only Norwich City fan who got Ayala printed on a shirt last season..
