Thought this was an interesting article on Curtis Davies and his opinion on Chris Hughton''s man management style.

Seems as if he could be as big a fan of Davies as we are. I would be very happy if CH goes in for him.

Seems as if he shares that man management skill that Lambert seems to have had success with. It''s a shame you don''t see it more from some of the top level managers, Mourinho has proven how important it is at the top end as lambert/hughton have done with lower teams- i do wonder if Lambert could ever step up to manage those ego maniac players that Mourinho seemed to be able to control though, Hughton has shown at Newcastle he has the ability to control players like Barton and Carroll, i honestly think we have bought in the best man for the job, i''m excited to see some signings happen and the new season to get underway, Curtis Davies would be a great marquee signing, but i am sure would take up a huge chunk of our wage budget, i expect he would cost a similar price to Naughton. I would take Davies though while bringing in that full back we were constantly linked with under lambert (god i''ve thrown a blank over his name)

Curtis Davies is a very decent player, far too good for the Championship and I can certainly see him moving this summer. If he follows CH to Norwich you will have a good player.

I think it is highly unlikely that he would return to Villa for a 2nd spell though.
