As far as I''m aware it was Sun journo Charlie Wyett who broke the story of Lambert resigning. I heard him interviewed on Radio Norfolk today saying Lambert has gone.

He still appears to be 100% sure that Lambert has left us and will join Villa. So sure that he''s still replying to people on twitter saying it''s not speculation, it''s fact.

He also says that there is nothing in today''s Guardian article that stated Martinez wasn''t totally out of the Villa frame.

Has anyone got any experience of Charlie Wyett? Is he usually reliable?

When it comes to Norwich he is usually pretty bang on - he''s a Norwich fan so takes a special interest in the club. He is getting all his info from one source I would imagine, so it''s probably more down to if his source is on the money.

Yeah I only just learned he was a Norwich fan. Would imagine his source is in the club. Just hope that source is well and truly wide of the mark.
