He''s been a lower league journeyman for most of his career and won''t have earned enough to not worry about his post-playing career. Maybe he''s been told he need 3 years of Premiership wages to be set for life? Moving would get him a big signing on fee, a wage rise and probably the 3 year deal he wants.
