Norwich & Swansea - 2nd Season Syndrome

Recommended Posts

Dont think either club will suffer the dreaded 2nd season syndrome now

We should be excited at prospect of new managers, players etc

Its like a new dawn a new beginning

We get off to a good start and a similar season  awaits us

Was just thinking that... has it happened before where a promoted side has stayed up but changed manager between 1st and 2nd seasons?

For both clubs this could be a blessing in disguise, were going to be somewhat unknown quantities again. No reason a new manager cant pick up the batton.

Both will struggle. Whether they will go down is another matter, but the momentum has definitely been lost.

It''s definitely better timing to be looking for a new manager now than half way through the season. Also if you have a manager and/or player(s) who are unhappy, it needs sorting out, otherwise results would be poor and we''d be in the bottom three by Christmas.

Not sure about this second season syndrome - but first season syndrome definitely exists if you think back to 2004-5! So at least we''ve got past that!
