Another reason to move to Firefox is that you can fix existing broken blockquotes by installing the FoxReplace addon. This addon rewrites the webpage before it gets displayed, replacing the broken elements with the correct ones, in other words it hides the defects. You might want to find a broken quote (there are quite a few on this thread) before following the steps below in order to verify that it works.Step 1/ Go here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxreplace/, click on the green ''Add to Firefox'' button and follow the installation instructions.Step 2/ Open the addons page, either via the menu or by pasting about:addons into your addressbar.Step 3/ Highlight and copy the following url - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/93vintage/pinkun/master/blockquote_fix.jsonStep 4/ At the about:addons page, click the ''Preferences'' button for FoxReplace (a pop-up dialog box should appear).Step 5/ Click the ''Import from URL'' button and paste the URL you copied in step 3 into the box, and then click ''OK'' (you might be prompted to choose to overwrite or append, in which case click on overwrite).Step 6/ Tick the ''Auto-replace on page load'' checkbox and then click on the ''Close'' button.

The only real side-effect is that FoxReplace inserts a menu item into Firefox''s right-click context menu, but this can easily be ignored.
