Yeah, Paul Tierney, ive heard of him. I remember reading in the press a couple of years back how it was thought by many that he would save Alex Ferguson a few million in the transfer market such was his ability. When Steve Mclaren went to Middlesborough it was rumoured he was going to come back and take Tierney with him as he rated him highly. I don''t know what has happened to the guy since, he must have just not progressed as well as people thought he would. The talent must be there though. He was also hotly tipped to become a full ireland international along with his team mate john o''shea.
