The most depressing thing for me is that MOTD is so weak, especially up against MOTD2. There''s a fair amount of quality analysis on football in the media, the annoying thing about MOTD is that the pundits don''t feel they have to make any effort at all (e.g. a bit of research about the newly promoted teams before the start of the season - why should I do that just because I''m paid to analyze the games involving them ?).
