pete 318 Posted May 18, 2012 Dean Ashton went for £7m after a season not as succesful season, now you''ve indicated you will go for more money you will only go for a fee City agree. £7m should be enough to replace Grant.

ZLF 274 Posted May 18, 2012 15 goals is a start but he has the "difficult second season" to come. perhaps its a good time to sell ;-) cant see it reaching £7m
Badger 2,405 Posted May 18, 2012 I doubt that we would get half that. 4 million tops for a 31 year old, with only one year''s top flight experience and no resale value?
Wooftie 0 Posted May 18, 2012 If I''m honest, If we could get 3 mil for him, and spend 5/6 on Jordan Rhodes I wouldn''t be to upset...
manbearpig 0 Posted May 18, 2012 Has 2 years left! At his age we will be lucky to get 3mil for him! Hes worth more to us being here than selling him so I wouldnt let him go, unless it was big money! If not its not worth us letting him go so id keep him for the 2 years the let him leave!
The 12th Devine 0 Posted May 18, 2012 A regular Premier League goalscorer who contributes with the odd assist too, who is well known as an influential player off the pitch AND, crucially, whose club doesn''t want him to leave, AND who has two years left on his deal ... not a chance for less than £5m. I think £7 is overstating it but a club looking to buy would be thinking they need a good two years from him and the value for money would work out nicely.
