Holt - have sky got it wrong?

Recommended Posts
There''s nothing come out from the club yet, I can''t imageine the club would just talk to sky and not release a full statement to the press first.
If it is true, then I imagine it was his agent trying to drum up more interest.
Radio Norfolk could be interesting tonight - Holt was due on McVeigh & Butler but pulled out two hours ago. Just Drury now

If thats true then it looks pretty much like he has. I''d just expect to hear it from the club first. Im not convinced though, I think it could be bs, it just doesn''t make sense.

Quote from the BBC story: "Norwich have refused to confirm that the former Nottingham Forest forward has asked to leave the club."Still might not be true....

Come on Lincoln - i''m sure you''re not that niaive!

I''m sure the club haven''t said anything to Sky - AGENTS! Dirty scumbags.  It''s clearly true - just about every news outlet has reported it now.

If the club have said that then it seems to me like they are just stalling whilst they prepare a statement. If there was no truth in it then surely they''d just say so?

2 days ago every media outlet had Lambert at Villa, 18 months ago every media outlet had Lambert at Burnley. I''m holding on to hope its wrong.

It''s on the BBC website; been on Talk Sport; on the ITV website and the Daily Star. I think that we might be grasping at straws!

Sky are saying request turned down,But before everyone starts wetting knickers and all that, yes he scored 17 all season but we are not a 1 man team and we will get another goal scorer, perhaps we already have and he don''t like the competition, guess we will never know the reason indeed if there is one,. No one is bigger than the club just remember that.

Footballers eh? We turn a 27 yr old journeyman player into the 2nd highest scorer in the Premier League in 4 years and that''s the thanks you get.Either someone has tapped him up or he wants a new contract and Lambert and McNally have said no.
You have a point. Plus that article isn''t very well-researched, as it said Holt got us from ''League Two to the Premier League'' (migh have changed it now though).

That''s not true though is it Lincoln - no news outlet said Lambert WAS going to Villa, only that he was a possible candidate. Which is also fair to say.

Rick Waghorn has tweeted that club confirm they have rejected request.
