YellowFellow 0 Posted May 19, 2012 It is oftern said that a church is not the building but the people that visit it, likewise Norwich City football club is not carrow road, nor lambert or Holt. It is us the fans. We are the 12th man as the programme used to show but in reality we are the first and last man and woman standing, Mnagers and players, however good are just servants to our hopes and dreams. With or without Lambert and Holt, Norwich City will have continued success and failure, the people may change but us fans will remain constant. I was gutted when i first heard about Holts transfer request, but does it means he wants to leave us? i doubt this as Holt is one of the most intelligent players iv seen and im sure he knows hes at the pinnacle of his playing days,i rememebr reading a quote from him a season or 2 ago saying no one was realistically going to sign him so getting promotion was his only chance of playing in the premier league, so why risk all that now. Hes a legend with us now and has the opportunity of getting 100 goals with us. He will not get this anywhere else. But at the end of the day player power is what it is so he will most likely get what he wants but we do not know what that is. If there was unwilting loyalty in football we wouldnt have got lambert in the first place so lets not worry. Fans are the only ones that should be loyal to their clubs, and what ever happens with players and mangers, happens, we will dust ourselves down, shrug our shoulders and move on. I guess what im saying is let the club deal with these issues and let us get back to enjoying being a premier league club.Because thats what we are.
