RvWs 4 year contract 0 Posted April 14, 2012 How Citeh arent top of the league?!Only team to have destroyed us comprehensively over 180 mins this season.I loved their [8]we''re not really here [8] chant.Absolute class.
Norfolk Mustard 106 Posted April 14, 2012 Me too; best team I have seen for ages. How on earth did they let their lead at the top go?
Aggy 944 Posted April 14, 2012 Certainly the side with the most quality in the division. It''s just a matter of getting that performing consistently and not letting individuals become bigger than the team. That''s why United (who this season are one of the weaker United Ferguson sides I''ve seen in terms of quality) are still above them.
GJP 79 Posted April 14, 2012 Well the thing Tevez thing didn''t help and losing Yaya Toure when he went to the African Cup was a big blow (as it often is when African players depart for that tournament). Probably some negative tactics on their part as well and I guess some teams play much defensively against than them we did - we went out to "have a go". I mean Mancini bringing an extra defender on when they were 5-1 up...what the f*ck is all that about?
GenerationA47 864 Posted April 14, 2012 Goal difference, is my bet.Lots to be proud of today for us. I was at both Man C games but our performance today till last 20-30 mins was phenomenal.
Baldyboy 1 Posted April 14, 2012 Quite simple really OP!!! Its called TEAM SPIRIT and too many prima donnas with the likes of Tevez and Balotelli providing too many sideshows!!!

Trent Canary 0 Posted April 14, 2012 Unstoppable when they are on form, lack bottle when the chips are down.United know how to grind out the wins when playing badly.
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,035 Posted April 14, 2012 if Man City dont win this ,then it be be down to Mancini''s favouritism of Balotelli over Tevez. He tried to pin on Tevez''s not wanting to play for Man City which was proved false and down-graded to "not wanting to warm-up", when you compare this "offence" to what Balotelli has been upto this season on and off the field ,it is pretty pathetic and Mancini should have done far more to deal with the situation.Had Tevez and Aguero been playing all season they would have won the league by now. Mancini cut off his nose to spite his face and it will probably cost him the league and maybe his job.

Henry 0 Posted April 14, 2012 Praying that Man Utd win the title this season. Man City are the epitomy of everything that is wrong with the modern game. Hope they crash and burn and implode in spectacular fashion. Likwise their forebears Chelsea and Blackburn. Can live with a certain amount of financial input ... but i despise teams buying success. They''d scored more than anyone and conceded least. The ANC thing is a good point but it''s not like losing a player to an injury. The manager is aware it''s going to happen. If Man.Utd win the title then it''s a case of the better manager making better calls.
Aggy 944 Posted April 14, 2012 The thing with Man Utd buying success is that surely they had the success in the first place in order to put them in a financial position to buy more? Obviously they''ve had take overs and the like as well, but I dare say a lot of their sponsorship money/the money they get from their vast Asian support etc. is because they have won things in the past. Whereas City have won nothing, but get a rich bloke in and suddenly become title contenders.
Syteanric 1 Posted April 14, 2012 they dont like being put under pressure... that was evident in the good spells of play we had...Man City are a decent side if they are allowed to be.... but pressure them and they start to fall apart... United on the other hand will soak up pressure all day then simply go up the other end and score...Look at man citys defeats this season and its been against teams who have constantly hassled them when they have been trying to play at the back.... Lescott is lucky to be playing for them... the weakest link by far in that defence!
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted April 14, 2012 On their day they are head and shoulders above Man U this season from what i''ve seen, just Unt have used their experience to make sure they get the results they need, even when not being as good as they used to be. Thought Tevez golf celebration was abit insulting to the man city fans, seeing as he probably would have been the difference if he''d actually turned up for the season, but maybe i was missing something.
