The only way I have found to get pictures from your pc, is to upload them to the internet first.   Upload them to any digital imaging site then copy and paste - you can even do it with a well known auction site.

Unless anyone knows a better way.........................

[quote user="Ruddygore"]Thanks LDC but that is exactly what I did using TinyPic but maybe it doesn''t work when using Safari?[/quote]

Well it would be good to get it sorted so maybe Pete can tear himself away from his usual pruning activities?

I use TinyPic an image hosting website and copy the url with "img" at the beginning and end of the string and then paste within the message which works on every other forum I''ve ever used. Obviously other people have success posting pics but if it''s me doing something wrong it would be nice to know what.

My browser is Safari.

In the other thread you posted <img src="http://i48.tinypic.com/2e4w0on.jpg" border="0" />it works if you use [IMG] tags like this [IMG]http://i48.tinypic.com/2e4w0on.jpg[/IMG] (Without italics, I used italics so I could show you the code without the image appearing)

Ruddy buddy have you tried the simple right click copy and right click paste from the image site?

Just did it with this from photobucket. If it works can you see where and when? [;)]

Sorry you chaps. Trying to read this thread and don''t understand your banter.

Have you tried switching your machines off then switching them on again:-)

Something really odd with Safari I think. Pasting it, it has the [IMG] at both ends but when posted it has changed!!

[quote user="Harry"]It always works with Firefox, not sure about Safari.[/quote]

Yes, always works fine with Firefox for me.  Totally OffT but I must be in the picture of the crowd on the pitch at Watford somewhere.  Wished I''d taken a camera that day!
