Thirsty Lizard 3,227 Posted May 7, 2012 Like most fans on here I would prefer to see QPR relegated, but if they survive I won''t shed too many tears for Bolton if they should go.After all, it was only three years ago that their chairman was proposing doing away with relegation from the Premier League altogether. Perhaps the idea should be reintroduced if Bolton do go down. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/nov/11/premier-league-two-tier-old-firm
K Lo 248 Posted May 7, 2012 Would still like QPR to drop over Bolton.
priceyrice 133 Posted May 7, 2012 Bolton are not really a threat to us next season, expect 2 wins against them. QPR on the other hand will spend heavily if they stay up this year and Mark hughes is a good manager, i hope to see them relegated as i think they will be the strongest team out of the bottom lot next season. priceyrice 133 Posted May 7, 2012 well i have to disagree with you both about Hughes, he finished in the top 6 twice with Blackburn and 2 FA semis i think. Then at Fulham he achieved a european place. At city he never should have been let go, instant success never follows big spending, i think if he had remained there he could well have done a better job than Mancini. Not a bad record, and success with the Welsh team is always going to be hard!

Had he stayed at Man City he could easily have matched, and quite possibly out-performed Mancini...
greenwichcanary 0 Posted May 8, 2012 While I hope QPR go down I think Hughes is a good manager even though I dont particuarly like him. He done a good job at Blackburn getting them in the top 6 twice on a shoestring budget and they have done very little since he has gone. Dont think he was given a proper chance at Man City while he done pretty well at Fulham. While Wales have got nowhere near as close to qualifying for a major tournament as they did with Hughes. As others say though QPR will be a force next season whereas Bolton will always be a beatable sort of team so would much rather they stay up. Still think qpr will get hammered by City and Stoke have been long on their holidays so definitely think they Bolton can beat them
pete 375 Posted May 8, 2012 I too want QPR to go down, however if Bolton go as they do desreve, we will have lost 2 Prem teams who have been established i.e.11 years the more inexperienced teams in the division next season chances of surviving are greater. Amongst inexperienced teams wil be Southampton, Reading, QPR, Swansea, WBA and City. And Wigan should struggle yet again. Good for us and Blackpool to win Play Offs.
