Kirby_86 0 Posted May 6, 2012 [:D]COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!!! Just been looking at the remaining fixtures and i feel the teams above us could drop points, while a win at home to Villa to round off the season is certainly possible!
Making Plans 957 Posted May 6, 2012 You cannot be seriousWBA already have 47 points & their goal difference is +10 versus oursGet real
Kidderminster Canary 0 Posted May 6, 2012 no higher than 11th, but probably 14th
Gingerpele 0 Posted May 6, 2012 Well he probably didn''t look at GD.But we could thrash Villa, and Arsenal would thrash WBA....Personally, i''m more disappointed in your Making Plans ''you cannot be serious'' & ''get real'' why that attitude?A simple, there goal difference is 10 better than ours, not likely to turn that around would suffice.... Kirby_86 0 Posted May 8, 2012 Oooops,i meant 11th is the highest we can still finish.
William Darby 0 Posted May 9, 2012 I''m sure we''ll try and climb up a couple of places. I mean, at around 750,000 per place and there''s go to be bonuses to be had by the players. I''m sure we''ll put a good shift in against Villa. We haven''t won on the last day for a few years now, and it''s about time that changed.
mrs miggins 0 Posted May 9, 2012 As long as we finish higher than Swansea i''ll be happy; not only do I f*cking hate them, but i''ll also win about £
Robert N. LiM 6,444 Posted May 10, 2012 I think 11th is actually a pretty reasonable target. These results:Norwich 2 Villa 1Swansea 1 Liverpool 1Sunderland 1 Man Utd 1would see us finish 11th. Not exactly unlikely, is it?
It's Character Forming 1,212 Posted May 10, 2012
I think 11th is actually a pretty reasonable target. These results: Norwich 2 Villa 1 Swansea 1 Liverpool 1 Sunderland 1 Man Utd 1 would see us finish 11th. Not exactly unlikely, is it?
A good point. With Carroll wanting to push his case for selection to the Euros it wouldn''t be at all surprising for Liverpool to get something at Swansea and ManU obviously need a win at Sunderland to take advantage if ManC slip up. Also Bolton need to win at Stoke to have a chance. To make it a perfect final day for me, as well as City winning (most important obv) then if Bolton win and QPR lose, QPR would be relegated - and given the choice I''d rather ManC win the title to avoid yet another ManU win (bored of them !). Although if we end up highest of the promoted teams I''ll be very happy regardless tbh.
BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted May 10, 2012 Goal difference? You pessimistic lot. Arsenal 6, WBA 0. Nodge 4, Villa 0. Obvious. We climb an extra place because of a superior goals for total. That Ray Winston just accepted my bet at a juicy 1000-1. I had a tennner on it.[:)]
