He has probably been eclipsed by Surman as a dead ball specialist and crosser of the ball. He and Wilbraham are very good supporting players, especially in their influence in the dressing room. It was interesting to see his interview. He emphasised how everyone in the squad feels fully part, even if they do not play very regularly. If he contributes to this, then he is valuable.
