Idiot reading, more likeif the past six games were an indication of the next (six) games then from QPR away when we took 13 points, which would have put us 3rd or maybe higher, we should have cruised ityet curiously the next six games are the ones that the OP is squeaking about - so what value current form ?the only table that counts is the current table

Fulham (A), Wolves (H), Newcastle (A), Wigan (H), Stoke (A), Manchester United (H) were never easy games.

Realistically, 9 points from that would have been fantastic. Every team we played away are generally very decent at home, and Man United is a write-off 90% of the time.

Then there was Wigan and Wolves at home. Six points would have been good, four was decent. Anything less would have been a problem.

We''ve won the games - or avoided defeat - when we''ve really had to this season, as our results against the bottom five show. (5 wins, 4 draws, 0 defeats).
