Sorry if this has been said but was whitbread left out because of injury yesterday or simply just not included.

 

Thought ward had his best game in a while & R.bennett was superb again, so we didnt actually miss zak but do feel he has been superb this season.

PL said it was his calf when interviewed after the game, so he presumably won''t be available tomorrow. Ward did have one of his best games and Ryan B looked the part, so he wast missed too much.

Think Bennett and Ayala will be first choice, Whitbread third in the pecking order. Whitbread and Ayala has been the best partnership this season, they work together well

He was definitely injured, saw him limping awayf rom carrow rd after the game, asked him what the problem was..." I took a slight knock but its not to bad" was his reply

Pretty obvious that Ward is a big Lambert favourite, he''s looked to use him whenever possible. First choice last season and has been back in the team this season since he returned from injury. Tells a story.

 

He''s got at least as much chance as anybody else of being in the team and probably more than that.

Think Ward is out of contract in the summer - currently he would be my fourth choice if all were fit.
