Yellow Messiah 0 Posted April 13, 2012 Interesting read, probably just mind games though.http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4254969/Roberto-Mancini-says-Norwich-will-give-Manchester-City-a-tougher-game-than-Manchester-United.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Yellow Messiah 0 Posted April 13, 2012 Here''s what he said;“United is easy. We could lose or we could win but it is an easy game. Against United or Chelsea, our concentration will be 100 per cent. The problem will be against Norwich. Against Norwich you might think it is an easy game. But it will be really tough. They are a good team and we have only had two days to recover.”
Pyro Pete 2,353 Posted April 13, 2012 The Sun have shaped it into a story, but Mancini probably just means the Norwich game could be a potential banana skin. Especially after the Spurs result. He''s right too. Man City can be a bit lethargic away from home. They''ve only won two more away games than us this season. RvWs 4 year contract 0 Posted April 13, 2012 What a load of patronising b-s....
Aggy 944 Posted April 13, 2012 Why is it patronising? He''s saying that against other title challengers, they are obviously going to be 100% concentrated on the result. At someone like Norwich that might not be the case, but if they aren''t at 100% against us, they''ll struggle.I think that''s completely the opposite to patronising. He''s basically saying that if they aren''t fully focussed they''ll struggle, despite us not being a title challenger. I dislike Mancini a lot, but that statement seems fair enough to me, not patronising at all.
Lincs CR 0 Posted April 13, 2012 Wouldn''t say it''s patronizing at all, more a warning to his own players that they need to concentrate 100% against us just as they would against United, because if not (as proven at WH-Lane) we are a match for any team not on their A-Game. GenerationA47 864 Posted April 17, 2012 And wasn''t Mr Mancini so wrong about this.Going by the score, we were just exactly as tough as Man U :-p
