Great performance apart from the first 10 minutes of the half where we stood off them too much.We can be positive for the second half - we had some great chances (Pilks and GH) and were unlucky not to go in 2-1 up.Good work City.

Hernandez probably should have done better with a chance he had earlier, basically a one on one, but still great half from Norwich, don''t think we deserve to be behind at all. Shame we didn''t get a goal or two, because I don''t think Fergie will be too happy with his players, and they will probably come out and play much better....

Fantastic performance. I never expected to get anything out of this one (although always thought we had a shot) and as they go in for HT I''m disappointed to be losing it. Fantastic performance all round, we''re dominating the Champions.

I don''t care what the result is, we have acquitted ourselves brilliantly first half, and if we do that again 2nd I would be furious with any complaints.

I''m no stranger to criticising the players if they don''t give it 100% but I don''t think you could level that at any of them today, they''re running through brick walls. Pilks and Holty unlucky, what are the odds that the one decent game De Gea has is against us. Sod''s law. Come on City, more of the same please!

Good post kick it off...

Earlier in the season, good performances without results got a little frustrating, while we weren''t picking the points up so frequently. But today, there is no pressure, we aren''t in a relegation scrap, were playing the PL champions at home, with nothing to lose, and were playing very well...

Man.U are a hard team to get anything from, its why the win titles, they ground out results when they perhaps don''t deserve them, I can see them doing that today. De Gea is having a good game for once, and we''ve just been a little unlucky a couple of times (Johnson ball over the top to Surman, he was very close to hooking it back to Jackson, that would have almost certainly resulted in a goal...).

Morison to come on and score a hat-trick in the last 5 mins? Covering every blade of grass? :)

The ball just passed so many people to get to Giggs - absolutely heart broken :(But it was a great performance, and the lads can be more than proud of that.Gutted we didn''t hold on for a point - we deserved that.

Gutted to lose it after we levelled so late on - we didn''t deserve that. What a strike from Holty too!

The lads gave it everything today, and the Champions of england struggled and scrapped a win they didn''t deserve against us for the 2nd time this season.

United reffing gave them a free pass on Evra''s blatant handball too.

C''est la vie, we got beaten by a team that cost hundreds of millions, and they were lucky to get the win. Another day and Pilks scores in the first half, Scholes loops his goal wide and it''s a different story. We were brilliant today, credit to the lads.

We through away our disciplined defending after Holts equaliser and looked nervous. Such a shame because we bossed them for 30 minutes of the first half.
All that hardwork wasted. We just stand off Young giving him enough time to make his picnic and eat it then pic his cross and put it on a plate for Giggs[:@]
A bit of perspective needed I think NBS - we''d have taken that at the start of the season, let ago two years ago.

Don''t need perspective and I''ve not said it wasn''t a great performance, it''s just frustating that he wasn''t closed down when there was ample opportunity to do so.  You can''t give players of that quality time to pick a cross like that..... undoing all the excellent hardwork that had gone on earlier.

Great performance overall, particularly from Naughton (my motm) fox (despite losing scholes for the opener)and pilkington.   Excellent cameo too from Wilbraham.

Cant wait for bennett to come in from Peterborough to firm up the middle and give good cover for ayala though.

And de gea was solid - kept us out almost single handedly,  but shows we were not clinical enough from teh chances we had.
Agree with this.  We could and should have taken a point today but that momentary lapse cost us."we''d have taken that at the start of the season, let ago two years ago." - in those circumstances we''d have taken 17th place but we know we can do better than that.
