ncfc2012 0 Posted February 2, 2012 we have on bad game and everyone moans, you can''t win every game, look where we are in the league 4 more wins and we are safe that''s a great achievement with our teamgreat behind the team and bring on Bolton
ROBFLECK 134 Posted February 2, 2012 You may have a point, but there sure was a lot to moan about. If we had at least made a game of it, it would have been much "easier" to swallow. We really were crap...so I can understand people who are shocked...we haven''t seen that in the league this season! I''m sorry but where are the wins going to come from if you play like that? But I think we''ll bounce back...Lambert will have to have a rethink and give the boys a real talking to, otherwise we''ll find it bloody hard on saturday. Another game which isn''t a foregone conclusion!
Shack Attack 0 Posted February 2, 2012 Some of us are able to discuss the poor performace from last night and still get behind the team for the Bolton game. It''s not dificult to understand.

But you must be able to be frustrated after a shocking performance...because it was!
mj 0 Posted February 2, 2012 Agreed!! A lot of guff on here today! Didnt man utd lose at newcastle in a similar fashion and now they sit joint top? In august i thought we would get a few games like last night - i have been pleasantly surprised. First away game missed in over 7 seasons last night as i already booked a holiday before game was moved - damn you sky! Compared to losing 5-0 at scum, 6-1 at vale, 5-0 at wolves, 4-0 at millwall Etc... last night is pretty easily forgotten! Keep the faith.
pete_norw 0 Posted February 2, 2012 Come on folks are we sitting in 11th 1point from 8th or are we 16th and 1point off 20th, we all knew when they paraded round the city on that open top bus that we were in for a fight to stay up, as a note to this I am not convinced we are not a prem side, Last night was a blip nothing more, Arsenal and Manure have suffered bigger defeats than us come to think of it so have Newcastle and Sunderland, these sort of games have hit all but a couple of teams this season. I am confident we will be back up to at least 9th come 5pm on Saturday.
ROBFLECK 134 Posted February 2, 2012 Hope you''re right there Pete! But it will need some good coaching and man management from PL!

[/quote]Pete it is only the ''ever so ''umble who are drawing absurd conclusions from this game - many who i suspect have an allegiance elsewhere. However the performance last night was very worrying, not for those conclusions but because it has been a long while since many have seen such a dire performance as that of last night. Fulham away in 2005, springs to mind. We suffered a heavier loss at Man City but the team was fighting all the way. The comment elsewhere about Holt ambling off the pitch when subbed seems to sum up the whole farce. Grant Holt has been one of the most committed players I have seen in a City shirt. Last night, along with many others that commitment wasn''t there. Even when we had the ball there was little urgency. Passes went astray too often as did players getting caught in possession. Shots skyed well high and wide. It was the cause of that lack of interest that is a cause of disquiet amongst many fans rather than any projection that last nights game was the signal for the end of the world.
