L4cole 0 Posted February 3, 2012 With Paul Lambertproving his managerial credentials over the past two years therereally is no doubt he is one of the brightest managerial talents inthe premier league.I think howeverSaturday could prove one of his biggest tests yet.I can''t remember a cityside looking so out of character under Lambert on Wednesday night. Hehas admitted the players are still hurting from the manner of thedefeat. This is another bigtest. To pick the players up get them motivated to go again Saturdayand try and remove the manor of the defeat to Sunderland from thereminds.Personally I thinkBolton could be on the end of a few goals from City!! I really thinkthey won''t want to let this affect them... But it could all go theother way. Heads down, if we let one in early we could go into selfdistrict.Am I over reacting.Properly... What do people think?
Sing up the river end 0 Posted February 3, 2012 Everyone has off days, you only have to look at Liverpool playing at Bolton the other week.I''m sure we have the team spirit to comeback from one defeat.I do agree this is a massive game though.Looking at our next few games home man Utd,away to Swansea and Stoke, two of the toughest grounds to goto outside the top six.that could easily slide to five defeats in a row should the worst happen tomorrow. Then the confidence might be going. But it''s one game at a time.I still think that loss could be a blessing in disguise.A kick up the rear to really be up for it in a massive 6 pointer.Win it and be on 32 points :-)
TIL 1010 4,737 Posted February 3, 2012 Tomorrow is just another day at the office for Lambert, nothing more nothing less.
Mister Chops 7 Posted February 3, 2012 If we''re not on our game tomorrow then I think Bolton will give us a few problems, particularly Chris Eagles out wide.
