Rasputin was a C... 0 Posted February 21, 2004 Again it''s a case of a great game spoiled by the ref. Didn''t let the game flow as it should have done and made some bad mistakes. Huckerby was fouled numerous times but, the ref let play go on or at times gave West Ham the free kick. He missed a penalty and the sending off wasn''t. Can''t the FA find men who understand the game?
Windy 0 Posted February 22, 2004 The sending definately was!! It happened right under my nose, and the ball was clearly not in the "D" on each occasion. If your players are that stupid they deserve a red! He should have shown Repka a card when he put his head against his - that was outrageous.
Pincer 0 Posted February 22, 2004 I must admit I thought the ref was right to send him off. He gave Etherington a chance by asking him 3 times to put the ball in the quadrant and and he still didn''t do it. It may seem harsh but how many times does the ref have to ask him to do it before he takes any action, the player only has himself to blame.
