A number of the team do not like the feel of the current socks (then Xara) within the boot, so wear their own socks with the NCFC sock cut (like a skate-sock) and taped around the ankle. Wooftie 0 Posted February 15, 2012 I was lucky enough to have a tour around Carrow road for the Newcastle home game, and apparently the new trend is to cut the feet of the football socks, and replace them with tennis socks as the payers think they ''can feel the ball better'' or something. For some reason Wes likes to cut the foot off, turn it upside down and then wear it. Since I heard that I cant stop looking at his socks when he''s on the pitch, because he always does it.
