Karl Pilkington 0 Posted April 15, 2005 I realise the origins of the name are due to pink pages but in modern terminology it has a new meaning. I have been at my current job for about 1.5 years but I have just been told by someone that when they used to walk past my computer and see the name "Pink ''un" at the top, they thought I was looking at a Gay website. I assume this incident was not isolated. So half the company thinks I''m Gay. I wouldn''t mind.....but I''m not!!! Anyone else had similar problems.
Pete Raven 276 Posted April 15, 2005 My brother-in-law has the same problem. The PinkUn is registered on his company''s filter as a porn site because of its name and he can''t access it.

Peter 0 Posted April 15, 2005 I couldn''t get thru Prudential firewall last week, EDP was categorised as not being accessible because it was PORNOGRAPHIC, now can get EDP, but not 606 chat rooms, however can post on Pink Un.I must get bounced on average 6 times a day for trying to access inappropriate websites.
