According to SSN Clayton''s contract talks at Leeds have broken down, sparking the interest of several Premiership clubs. He''s a player I''d certainly like to see here.

He was mentioned in a Daily Mail piece yesterday, based on what Norwich City-style gems there might be down the divisions:

Midfielders: Adam Clayton (Leeds) - He was 23 on Saturday. One of those Mancunians squeezed out by the globalisation of Manchester City, Clayton was loaned out by City to Carlisle and elsewhere. Now permanently at Leeds, he has shown the ability and composure to play Premier League football for a club outside the top six. His injured midfield colleague Jonny Howson is another who could step up.
Never seen him play, is he actually that good?
He is quite a decent player to be fair. Started to make a name for himself over the last year or so and actually had a pretty good game against Arsenal the other day.

This is starting to sound like Leeds United is a feeder club to Norwich City. I like it. Where''s that Leeds twerp who used to come on this forum with great regularity when Leeds were leading us by a healthy margin in League One, pointing out how his club was on it''s way back to the big time while we were a bunch of no-hopers?
