Another quick calculation is that an U-21 in the Barclay faces a rise of 16.4 per cent. Doesn''t quite seem to tally with the stated aim of attracting in and keeping the next generation. ncfcstar 344 Posted January 20, 2012 I can''t remember exactly how much my ticket was last season, I think it was £490, so at £532 now, it''s around a 10% increase...far less than rumours around our part of the ground had stated.
Matt Juler 215 Posted January 20, 2012 Great value still in my mind, less than £25 per game (based on Premier League).
Jacko 0 Posted January 20, 2012 I think thats the key point to bare in mind here. £25 to watch a game of Premier League football is outstanding value in my eyes.
L4cole 0 Posted January 20, 2012 So lower Barclay.. What am I looking at?
birchfest 401 Posted January 20, 2012 Still excellent value for money when in contrast to other clubs, I fully believe we will be in the top flight and no doubt the club think that and are pricing acordingly. No doubt there will be those who complain, bring up the old ticketing policy.. the same policy that nearly put the club into administration while also preventing us from showing ambition with regards to players. In an ideal world the prices would stay the same, but in reality football is an expensive game and I think that the low increase shows that the club are trying to maintain the competitve edge and keep everything ok with regards to finances, while not spiking the fans with a huge increase. SnakepitCanary 0 Posted January 20, 2012 Just wondering, what is the cut off date from under 21 to go to an adult season ticket?
ryan1992 0 Posted January 20, 2012 Not great tbh. Mine''s gone up by around 16%, in an economic crisis thats a hell of a rise for any product, let alone a luxury like football. I''ve had a ST for 14 years, but doubt I''ll have one next year. Mcnally has worked wonders at the club, but his pricing structure has been high all the time. Some seats are in the top 5 highest seats in the League. For Norwich thats not good enough.

"""""""""Ben """"""""""" 0 Posted January 20, 2012 Ryan - you are the same age as me and can hardly complain. The club are offering under 21 season tickets at £201.50 a game which works out just over £10 a game. Which for Premier League football is very good! Yes there is a 16% increase but a season ticket for that price is good value for money. Not many other clubs (such as Leeds) offer deals like that and once you hit 16 charge adult prices. PurpleCanary 6,464 Posted January 20, 2012
Great value still in my mind, less than £25 per game (based on Premier League).
I wouldn''t disagree, although Wolves - a reasonably comparable club - has a basic range of prices from £370 to £490 for next season. Our equivalent range is £471 to £532.Some more percentages, which show that pre-adult rise in the Barclay and various family areas is the sharpest overall:Barclay etc adult 11.2 per cent rise. Barclay u-21 16.4 per cent. Side stand wing seat adult 11 per cent.Side stand wing u-21 11.2 per cent. Side stand centre seats all ages 9.8 per cent.

grantroederdisaster 0 Posted January 20, 2012 A fair deal I say! Many fans still paying under £500 for a ST to hopefully watch Premiership football is good in todays market! I always had faith that Mcnally wasn''t so nieve as to put the prices through the roof thinking fans will go whatever the cost (because that wouldn''t be the case!) and my faith was justified! lappinitup 629 Posted January 20, 2012 I really can''t believe some of you people. Apart from Ryan, most of you seem quite happy with another rip-off by the club. Just another wheeze to line the cooks pocket. At a time when the government are trying to keep inflation down, NCFC decide to increase prices by an average of 14%. There''d be an outcry if the same thing were to happen with some of lifes necessities like fags and beer. And another thing, there''s no mention of a rebate. What if we''re relegated at the end of the season which is still very much on the cards, just look at Blackpool. We''ll be paying the highest prices in the second division and all this just two years after the cook took us to our lowest level for fifty years. Sheep, all of ye, Sheep, SHEEP!!! """""""""Ben """"""""""" 0 Posted January 20, 2012 Ryan - I understand you have other costs to add to the equation but you''re still only paying just over £10 a game for Premier League football. Which is unbelievable value for money. The club were always going to increase ticket prices anyway as the majority of the season ticket holders were paying Championship prices this season anyway. This shouldn''t have come as a surprise to anyone. The problem will be in a few years when having to pay £500 for a ticket!

"""""""""Ben """"""""""" 0 Posted January 20, 2012 But you were paying petrol costs already to get to games this season. And a 16% increase on the season ticket isn''t a great deal considering you''re only paying £201.50. Therefore the increase is only what £30? Adding to the fact you can spread the cost over 12 months (interest free) that works out only £2.50 a month extra. And if you''re on £4.98 an hour you''d only be having to work an extra half an hour a month to cover the costs right?Norfolk Mustard - That would be a tad expensive! haha. Should really proof read before I post.
