And our club nowadays is far too efficient to do a deal without a medical- I think it has been reported in the past that some clubs have made last minute deals before without one, and I wouldn''t put it past some clubs, but not this one! As an example, when we completed the late signing of Rob Earnshaw he had his medical over at Reading FC (I think we were playing Watford at Vicarage Road that same evening)...
