The reserve leagues in England are getting beyond a joke now - most clubs won''t play their better players (especially away) for the fear of them getting injured. A Grant Holt tweet earlier today shows that Vaughan (and presumably Ward) were involved in a training ground game - this is probably as good for fitness that a game with a bunch of kids in Liverpool is.
