felt sorry for

the young lad who was turfed out of the N&P when Spurs scored all

because he had cheered their goals!!! 60 odd minutes he had sat there

enjoying his team then some Norwich fans moan that he is cheering his

team!! come on people, he was about 11 years old and was nearly in tears

poor thing when he left, I was disgusted at the treatment he got. yes i

know he shouldn''t have had a seat in with Norwich fans but isn''t it the

so called FAMILY stand? The people who complained should be ashamed of

themselves, why not have moaned before the game kicked off? I am sure

norwich fans would have rubbed it in if we had scored!!! ABSOLUTE

DISGRACE people!

Let it be a harsh lesson to him, I remember when I was 8 having to sit in the leeds end and watch us take the lead before being pegged back 2-1 and relegated. I had to keep quiet then. He''ll learn and probably laugh it off.

I just find it very frustrating how quite a few spurs fans go in the home ends. Many Norwich fans who wanted to go to that game missed out due to those fans siting in seats they don''t deserve to be in.

Wonder how they got tickets anyway? Thought you needed to purchase a super membership these days to get tickets. Unless they just purchased the super membership for just one game.

Maybe the allocation of casual tickets needs to be reviewed. Maybe a "loyalty points" system which many Premier League clubs have these days should be implemented. Would stop away fans getting in the home ends and reward casual supporters who go to the Fulhams, WBAs etc with priority tickets for the big boys.

When they scored I looked around the ground and couldn''t see a single person who looked like they were celebrating, if there was some Spurs fans in home areas they must have been keeping a low profile.

Ground regulations state no ''away'' fans in ''home'' areas. Although stewards/etc should have picked up on this pre-match, it perhaps only became obvious when they celebrated.

Can''t have one rule for one person, then a different rule for another. They defied clear regulations, and were all treated as such - and all treated equally.

If they had any intelligence they wouldn''t have celebrate so publicly. To do it once was ignorant, to do it twice (thus fully revealing themselves) was utterly moronic.

If you don''t remove ALL ''away'' fans (just because they are young, or for whatever reason), you open yourself to a dangerous precedent...

Was that before or after the Chav 40 something, Spurs fan was kicked out of the N&P? He wanted to take on the whole world lol! There was also two ladies (one approx 30, the other approx 60?) who seemed to be shown the door soon after. There were also some nearer to us who kept their celebrations down, and stayed. It seemed more exciting than some of the stuff on the pitch!

I''ve been thinking the same as CanaryJames. What happens when we play Man u ? We must have a lot of young season ticket holders who              " support" them too. Will they have to be ejected ? What happens if a 9 year old in a Man U shirt ( with his dad ) tries to get in ?

I only saw one Spurs fan thrown out of the River end last night, he was about 30 and was giving it the big un at our supporters, so deserved to go.

I''m not being funny but we sell our ground out every week, why should I feel sorry for someone who is taking a Norwich fan''s seat? I didn''t see this incident and it sounds pretty harsh, but surely if he was 11 he should have been accompanied and if he was then whoever escorted him should have had the nous to tell him to keep it shut, and if he wasn''t then he shouldn''t have been there alone...

These would be the same ground regulations that are conveniently ignored when it comes to standing in the seated areas, then?

but you didnt get ejected from the ground did you?

I kept quiet, if you go into someone elses territory, you respect where you are and what ever your beliefs, you keep quiet. Anything that happens too you should you choose to ignore this is your own fault, regardless of if it is right or wrong.

I don''t actually have a problem with away fans in home sections. I did it a couple of times last season when I was desperate to see Norwich. I did it for the game''s at QPR and Ipswich.

Obviously with super memberships etc, the situation at Carrow Road is slightly different. But in response to a some posters on here I didn''t feel guilty about taking the seat of "genuine fan." On both occasions even though the games eventually sold out, the tickets weren''t flying out of the door straight away. All I did was phone up the box office, with no purchase history and I got a ticket with no questions asked. If any fan had desperately wanted to go they could have done.

As for behaviour in the ground my attitude is once you have made the decision to go in the home section. You shut up, whatever happens in the game. You are in their section, so you have to respect them, end of. If you celebrate one of the goals, then expect to be ejected.

Also from a purely common sense point of view I don''t get why you would celebrate a goal as an away fan in a home section. All it takes is for you to be sitting next to one complete idiot who has a had a couple of pints and you can have a major problem on your hands.

Thats why I said I can understand the situation is slightly different. But I don''t really see what the club can do. If someone has given the ticket to a friend who supports Spurs, how are the club meant to police that?

At the end of the day there are clear posters stating that any away fans will be ''ejected'' from the ground if sitting in the home section. What exactly do they expect? If your gonna do it at least dont make it obvious! I think it is highly unfair on loyal NCFC fans, when a so called plastic fan takes a proper fans seat so they can see the big clubs.

Away fans aren''t allowed in the home end, I was quite annoyed when Norwich fans were boasting about getting tickets in the Ipswich ends before. The home stands are for home fans, wether they can fill them or not. Its not fair to let away fans in, and if he was stupid enough to cheer a Spurs goal, he should be removed what ever age he is. And I didn''t see an 11 year old get ejected, I saw an older person who seemed very smug getting kicked out.

Thanks for clearing that up, it took my attention away from the game for a while, as you don''t usually see anything happening down that end of he ground !

Its an unwritten common sense rule amongst fans who go regularly to games that if end up with a seat in the oppostions fans stands, you keep quiet and don''t wear colours!

The only people nowadays who don''t follow these rules (and probably aren''t aware of them?) are once a season plastic TV fans who manage to get a ticket and seem to think because its little ole Norwich, its alright to sit in the home ends!

An 11 year old kid is unlikely to understand all this but the adult he/she was with should have known better!

I saw one incident in the River end but I was surprised their wern''t more considering the number of Spurs fans in East Anglia!

I suppose the lack of plastic Spurs fans in home areas is an indication of how our support has grown in recent years meaning that getting tickets in Norwich home ends is very difficult!

I don''t really understand how away fans get home tickets at Norwich. Unless of course they take out super membership just for one game. If it''s a case of a City fan giving his ticket to a spud then surely it''s the original ticket holder who is contravening ground regulations.

The boy may even be a Norwich regular?

You do get these peculiar beings who follow Norwich and one of the bigger clubs!

I was surprised their wern''t more incidents in home areas cause Spurs, Man U games in the 80''s and 90''s were always rife with plastic once a season fans in home areas but like I said earlier nowadays we have a much larger support which is very partisan and limits the plastic fans chances of getting in!

He could have been a regular but if he was the people around him would have recognised him as that and there would have been loads of banter.

Expect to see it more when united come to town. Their fans would buy super membership for one game. I remember when Watford went up Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U fans bought season tickets just to watch a few games! We are spared that because our ST''s are sold out.

I was quite chuffed knowing that Norwich fans easily numbering into hundreds were in Ips*it home areas for the Derby game and these fans had the sense to keep themselves undetected.

The Sc*m don''t anywhere near filling their over sized ground so were no doubt grateful for the extra income which has been used to pay of Chopras gambling debts to dodgy gangsters!

Ipsh*t would be better of giving us 1000+ more seats to help ensure this doesn''t happen1

This similar scanario was exactly what  used to happen at Carrow Road in the late 70''s to mid 90''s when our support was much smaller and away fans could get into our home fan areas much easier!

Though I agree with the last part of your post ginger pele - If an away fan starts making him/herself obvious in home areas then they should get chucked out!

What about all the young norwich fans who don''t get to watch their local team because of these selfish and seemingly stupid people! Anybody wearing shirts or scarves of the opposition should not be allowed into the ground.

I have only limited sympathy for this lad - I''ve been to dozens of away games in the home support as a ''neutral'', including as a youngster and at Poorman Rd more times than I remember. It is not that hard to keep it down if you want to go to the game.

We do seem to have had a bit of a clampdown this season - something people have been calling for for years. It is no bad thing as I''m pretty sure that NCFC was seen as a bit of a soft touch in the past.

I''ve sat with home fans when we''ve been away a few times, and it''s sh*t - because I deliberately haven''t drawn attention to myself. Not because of the stewards but because I don''t want a slap. Even if he was 11 he - or the adult with him - should know the score and keep quiet or expect consequences. Nuff Said!
