Guest Posted November 19, 2011 ...according to Mr Lineker, Shearer and Hansen, Arsenal were the only team playing today. Not a single mention of anything Norwich related in their "analysis", absolutely shocking. Yet another example of the Beeb''s truly unbiased and objective reporting I guess!
MAJESTIC 0 Posted November 19, 2011 good for us because they have to be 3 of the most boring men on the planet
ZLF 335 Posted November 20, 2011 who cares? Its always been that way and its about what the club does - not what the media thinks. The reporting has been pretty flattering for us this season so far overall, and being just the 5th player to score 30 goals on a calendar year, esp from so few games played its no surprise the focus was on RVP - his second goal was a sublime finish - and intelligent having just seem ruddys save from Gervinho and guessing he would go down again put it over him.Its not that their criticqueing that will cost us points after all is it? Guest Posted November 20, 2011 Surprised anyone''s defending that drivel really. Considering that those two pathetic excuses for pundits suck a reported 1 million quid+ of our license payers'' money, I think we probably have the right to question why they didn''t even mention the opposition of the big teams in at least two of the games. I mean, if I wanted to hear analysis at the level of the average fan in the stands, I wouldn''t bother tuning in on a Saturday night.Still, from a Norwich point of view, it keeps us under the radar and provides a bit of extra motivation I suppose. JF 694 Posted November 20, 2011 To be fair we didn''t really create anything of note for them to show or talk about did we? All we done in the match was the goal and then a decent chance for Pilkington. Poor performance all round.
ZLF 335 Posted November 20, 2011 I am not defending it! It just does not bother me; its how the whole media, not just MOTD, approaches it. If they wanted to be negative against city they could have done a piece on the defending or highlighted holts dive, there was not a huge amount of positive to focus on so does not seem overly negative. Getting media attention means clubs know more about our strengths and weaknesses - since we had MOTD praise our performances levels have fallen! The less the better please! curly_whirly_tipz 0 Posted November 20, 2011 I stayed up despite be shattered to watch it last night. No idea why I bothered I think they only said the word ''Norwich'' once and that was at the beginning when they said we are now going to watch Norrwich v Arsenal. What a waste of time! We will bounce back stronger .26801 there yesterday, not mentioned, Swansea 20,000 got a mention. yes leave us alone, and keep the camera''s out.
paul moy 235 Posted November 20, 2011 I thought it was a blessing that they did not highlight any of Holt''s diving. It was truly embarrassing and I really don''t want to see my club being accused of cheating.
pete_norw 0 Posted November 20, 2011 Wait till next week when Warnock comes to City, he will have his pre and post match comments already before he leaves London, we all know what he thinks of Holt anyway, Cant wait for the match myself.
Making Plans 957 Posted November 20, 2011
As already said, the less they say about us the better, mean the less they know about us
Total delusion - do you really think that other clubs rely on MOTD & the words of it''s pundits. Every other club in the PL knows all about our strengths & weaknesses from their own scouts, videos of games etc - they probably don''t even both to watch the programme as watching 5-10 minutes "highlights" will tell them nothing that they didn''t know already. You may be surprised but Clubs in the PL are clever enough to see what they see & make up their own minds without listening to so called "experts" on TV. To think that by not getting any positive mentions/coverage on MOTD means that we''re some how "keeping under the radar" is just madness. This is the PL & none of the Clubs in it leave anything to chance. And the truth is their knowledge is growing the more games we play - hence the reason we''re now being found out in most areas of the pitch.
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted November 20, 2011 I know it''s hard because it''s an institution of the game, but just stop watching it, it rubbish and poor imitation of the show it used to be.

Power Hamster 0 Posted November 20, 2011 OK maybe they could have given us a bit more of a mention in the analysis (especially Morison''s superbly taken goal), but it was the fourth match on the programme and there is only a couple of minutes available. At the end of the day, Arsenal dominated the play, won the game, and van Persie got two goals, so it is only fair that they should get the lion''s share of the discussion time. Bomber 57 Posted November 20, 2011 Why do people get so beefed up about MOTD comments - far more important things in life to worry about and I am sure Paul Lambert will not turn to MOTD for his pre match analysis of QPR next weekend. Blimey it is not as if we did not know what MOTD was like before we got promoted is it so ehy whinge and moan now.
Clint 221 Posted November 20, 2011 To be fair, there was really only one team in it - we were completely outplayed and outlcassed, why is it that many of our fans seem to think we are being hard done by MOTD and the media?Fair enough if we were not being given credit if it were due but I could see very little of anything creditable from our performance yesterday, Arsenal were by far the better team and RVP was by far the best player on the pitch so the media response to the game has accurately reflected this.
