Not a Ruddy chance of making the England

Yes, another Ruddy thread but thought i''d share some info that no one else has

 

Went to the game Sat but was in corporate hospitality for a pre match meal and the like, every week at the Etihad they must have a guest speaker who has some sort of connection with the club, anyway Sat was Joe Corrigan ex Goalkeeper and when asked what he had been doing recently in football told about his time at Hull and how he fell out with them because they only wanted him till they could get in the goalkeeping coach they really wanted, he then went on to say that he had been doing some scouting for the FA and that he was at the game on a assignment to watch the two keepers, he already knew all about Joe Hart so was looking forward to seeing more from John Ruddy

 

Safe to say we wont be seeing Ruddy getting a call up soon

Fortunately for Ruddy, we arnt blessed as as nation in being able to pick players who never make a mistake, infact the whole England squad is littered with players who have made errors throughout the careers both on and off the pitch. I dont think the error on Saturday will have any bearing on his international chances in the long run, it''ll be how he plays over the whole season. as the whether he has a chance of a call up in the future.

Seriously, its all just opinion and mine is different to that of the "great" Joe Corrigan. I expect his has more credence but he''s not a Norwich City fan and was always a bit of a lumpy b oll ocks whenever he was doing that punditry that you can do yourself after 40 years of watching football and a couple of pints.
