Striker 2 Posted December 11, 2011 Yesterday''s win, coupled with our current league placing this far into the season, must surely mark the highest point our club''s stock has been in recent memory. Who''s to say it won''t go higher still - any buyers ?You''d surely have to go back as far as our European season of 93-94 to recall a time when our stock has been this high ?Long may it continue. Truly great times.
LQ 0 Posted December 12, 2011 Personally I''d say we need to stay up this season for our stock to reach those heights.Do that and, with the slash & burn cuts made throughout the structure of the club, we''ll be a more attractive investment.
Striker 2 Posted December 13, 2011 Sorry LQ, when referring to our ''stock'' I didn''t mean it with a view to potential investors, it was more of a general ref to our current perceived status (not necessarily league placing), which in my opinion is the highest it''s been since 93-94. Agreed, for it to remain so, or rise further, then a sustained period in the Prem would be required, beyond just this season
