Lambert is King 0 Posted October 24, 2011
You were right as well.I don''t think i am going to get to that many games this season[:(]
Lol so with respect its not Norwich you want to see then just Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool. You could have easily got tickets for our first six games and in fact there are still tickets on Saturday for what will be a far more crucial game for NORWICH than the Arsenal game. Lets not start creating a myth that games are sold out and only a few ever get a chance. IMO those going to the Swansea WBA ect games should have first option when the big boys come to town. Dont know for sure but I bet its these guys who miss out.
Herman 11,136 Posted October 24, 2011 I am going Saturday,so don''t presume i only want to see the big teams.I would like to see us play the Arsenal because,a)i have never seen us play against them,b)i live in an Arsenal/Spurs town so know a few reds that will be going up,c)because our games are getting shunted around,Saturday fixtures are basically the only ones i can get to. My real point is that a lot of people getting the tickets are only going because its Arsenal Man U ect, the games to date have had to have a marketing campaign to sell the tickets left. crabbycanary 2 Posted October 25, 2011 Seeing as my daughter and I went to the MK Dons ''game'' then I might try asking if we deserve seats next to Delia, as we couldn''t get tickets for the Arse :(
I understand your point, but the simple fact is that a lot of people would rather pay to see Van Persie and co than Jason Roberts and co. and it has always been thus.Personally i don''t care who we are playing, just that i can get the odd ticket, but others want to see the ''superstars''.I can''t think of any way around this, unless they brought in a ballot style system/loyalty scheme for Grade A games. But that wouldn''t go down very well i think! grantroederdisaster 0 Posted October 25, 2011 Blackburn game was sold out but obviously some season ticket holders, or people who bought tickets have returned them. Even then theirs only 10 left in home areas for Saturdays game! The Arsenal game selling out very fast is no shock. I''m sure we''d of got the magical 35,000+ had we built the stadium extensions!I agree that supermembership fans who bought tickets for games like West Brom and Swansea should get 1st shout at getting tickets against the likes of Arsenal!Yes not all our games have sold out but the most unsold tickets we''ve had for League games this season would be comfortably under 500!Yet more compelling evidence pointing towards the definate need for stadium expanson!
