Gary Brink 0 Posted November 18, 2011 To be perfectly honest, I´d sayThis G-Day we may get blown away,But, what the heckIt´s not going to wreckOur season, nor the way we playBut, interestingly enoughFor Gunners, it might, if they´re stuffed,And just what that showsI´m not sure, but goesSome way to helping, when it´s toughA defeat here, they cannot bearWhile for us, it´s nothing to fear,Not many expectThat we will collectThree points, and a celebratory beerAnd though we´re closer to the topRight now, it´s those down near the drop,Who we need to beatIf we are to meetOur target, and avoid the chopSo far, at home, we haven´t seenAny of the really top teams,So it´s hard to knowJust what sort of showOur lads will put on, if they´re keenWe´d like to think that we will matchThose big wage earners on our patch,And that´s the beautyOf this game, you seeAnd what keeps us wanting to watchFor no-one´s yet worked out a wayTo prophesy just how the play,Will go, or who´ll winBefore it beginsOn any one November daySo although the Gunners may feelThat this one´s almost a done deal,They should know by nowWhether low or highbrowThat no game is ever a steal. BroadstairsR 2,138 Posted November 18, 2011 Come on you brave canary bandBring of the biggest shock in the land.Stuff those gunners well and good. Then we all will have some of Delia''s pud. With Sunday Waitrose''s "Delia Day."Make double reason to yell "hooray." What absolute crap. Who started this? Those above are much better. But I do trust the faithful are going to recognise Delia Day in some way tomorrow. I would suggest that everybody brings along a Delia Xmas pud, which could be thrown at Wenger should we lose. But I would be arrested for enticing a riot or something. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2062832/Delia-Smith-effect-strikes-sales-cheats-Christmas-cake-double.html
