Gary Brink 0 Posted September 30, 2011 A 4-5-1 look to our playI like, so is it here to stay,Or 4-4-1-1I suppose, as someWould call it, both home and awayThe key really is HoolahanOr whoever plays the spare man,Between he who soarsAnd the midfield fourSuch an integral part of the planI thought with one striker alone It would leave us possibly prone,To very few goalsBut v Cats, many holesAppeared, and chances to score were shownAt least, if the movement is thereWhich Morison and Wes did share,For Sunderland tooTill they went 4-4-2Tried the same, without getting anywhereAnd with Bennett and Pilkington whoAre both quick and talented too,At crossing the ballThe chances did fallAnd with it, the confidence grewAnd just maybe it´s easier to switchTo 4-4-2, if there´s a hitch,Than making the other playWhich in a psychological waySeems a negative move on the pitchSo our diamond for now´s packed awayIn the safe ready for a rainy day,But it could still shineAnd sparkle any timeIf brought out between now and May.
