well done Mr Moss!!!

Recommended Posts

got to say for a guy in his first season at Prem level he refereed extremely well today!! Only thing I can pick him up on was not booking Joe Allen for THAT pathetic dive!!! Other than that he was excellent. always impressed me at Champs level too!!!

A sensible and unfussy performance in the main. For their goal, I just wonder what he would''ve done had Graham put that shot wide instead or the ball not found him. Moss had both arms outstretched when it went in as though to signal advantage, so he might well have given a penalty for Bennett leaning into Sinclair (which would''ve been soft IMO).

Thought he was fairly poor actually.

Should have handed Swansea at least 2 or 3 yellow cards more than they had.

Nobody wants a fussy refs who hands out yellow cards for fun but not giving yellow cards for clear bookable offences ir poor refereeing.

He missed some blatent pushes on Steve Morison, he missed a clear hand ball in the middle of the park and there were other times when he needed the linesman to make the decision for him, even though he was better placed.
If you thought he was poor you must feel disappointed with every refereeing display!
There weren''t too many major issues for him to deal with.

Go back to the other week (I think against Sunderland?) and Chris Foy actually had a good game.

Today the guy has missed quite a lot of stuff but a good home win and a low card count will mask it.
