TwoSheds 0 Posted January 7, 2005 Ok,so we are 99% sure we have got Ashton....thats great news! So lets go and really push the boat out and go for Bent! Am i being greedy here or what? I think they would make a formidable frontline,good enough to scare the pants off a lot of prem defenders!But we must remember,1 new striker isnt going to make a lot of difference to our survival hopes if he does not get the service up front.We need all 11 on the park to play well,to play as a unit,to keep possesion of the ball more often,a little bit of ingenuity,flare,spark with a ellement of suprise to the other team,rather than pass to Hucks on the flank all the time and the final pass to the front man needs to be much better from all quarters and then,maybe just then we will see the benefits of a top class striker!He aint gonna score if he aint got the ball !
