They will be as bad as the other 3 "extra" officials on Sunday. Sadly a lot of referees instruct their linesmen that they are only there to give offside and throw in decisions. Time for a radical shake up of the officialdom..

Oh hang on - this is fifa and tha fa we are talking about. Not going to happen. Maybe if we change our name to Man Utd we will get some decisions for us.

Agreed Jem. But if, as I have seen suggested, the ref was feeling aunwell you''d have thought he would have asked for all the help he could get.

The annoying thing is I think the majority of fans would prefer a game of football where such minimal contact did not result in a penalty. But then of course they would doubtless be jumping up and down demanding one be awarded if a similar incident happened at the other end. Football fans are nothing if not massive hypocrites [:D]

 

We need to wise up pretty damn quick if we are going to stand a chance of staying in this league. It''s no good moaning about players going down to easily or time wasting and expecting it to change. Presumably most of you have watched the Premier League before so such antics should not come as much of a surprise. Our players need to follow our captains example and cheat a bit more [;)]

[/quote]Agree mate. Although we did play pretty well and some nice passing and movement, at the end of the day we managed 3 shots on target at home to a pretty poor team, which is not enough. I''d like to see more of James Vaughan.
