nutty nigel 7,509 Posted September 27, 2011 I think the record was English team. I think kick it off is right that we still hold the record since they moved to the new stadium in 2005. Not sure how often they have drawn English teams in the CL group stages as I am not a great fan of that competition. But with so many games being played now that aren''t knockout, and the fact that it would be entirely possible they could play an English team in a meaningless CL group game, I reckon another English team will win there sooner oir later.
