canarydan23 4,060 Posted August 27, 2011 Not until the FA sort out the pathetically inept refereeing situation. The officials are arrogant, untouchable and have a complete lack of grasp over the game they are supposed to be in charge of.Anyone who has ever played football at any level would have seen that the ball had been pushed too far. He would never have scored. To give a red card is to essentially admit you know nothing about the game of football.3 games, 3 atrocious and costly refereeing decisions. Until the standard is resolved, the Premier League has no right whatsoever to call itself anything other than a complete farce. Refereeing errors should be a rare talking point, not an inevitable feature of every single game. And what do the FA do? Launch campaigns in defence of one is arguably the sports biggest problem.Pathetic.
Matt Juler 148 Posted August 27, 2011 He never pushed the ball too far, would have been a tap in IF he had ever had any intentions of scoring instead of going down. Keepers need to learn to pull out and the cheating forwards will soon stop doing it.
CDMullins 436 Posted August 27, 2011 At then end of the day if our players didnt put themselves in a postion to give penalties away or get sent off then they wouldnt. After De Leat got mugged at Wigan he was always going to give a pen away, Barnett gave the ref a chance to send him off my mis-controlling and clipping Walters and Ruddy went to ground knowing if he didnt 100% get a touch on the ball he was giving a penalty away and possibly getting sent off! Cant keep blaming the Refs!
