Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted September 5, 2011 They were being advertised on the radio yesterday. Could it be that casuals are being put off by the extortionate prices and are opting to watch down the rubbedy instead of going to Carrow Road?
InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted September 5, 2011 If I recall Stoke tickets were on sale on the Thursday before the sunday of the game. We''ll sell out, of that I''m sure [:)]
e10_yellow 0 Posted September 5, 2011 Combination of factors - opposition, on Sky, 1.30 Sunday, rail engineering works, plus of course WBA (like Stoke) haven''t taken the full allocation so there''s far more casual tickets available than there will be for a lot of games this season. Mungo Bumpkin 0 Posted September 5, 2011 And do you still think we should increase the ground''s capacity to 80,000 like many fairweather fans suggest?Carrow Road - not too big, not too small, just the size of Montreal!Mungo

We can easily fill that capacity for the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool etc.
Rupethebear 0 Posted September 5, 2011 Tickets still on sale because the game is on TV and they are too expensive for casual fans, as suggested before there should be a different category for TV games.......as for a 35,000 seater ground, forget it, you said it, will fill it for Man U and Liverpool but what about the other 15 or so games? Brighton Yellow 0 Posted September 5, 2011 There are tickets available which is pretty common for most games, however they are predomoninantly only the worst seats in the house, i.e. Thorpe corner behind the floodlight. There is very little chance of a group of ''casuals'' buying a ticket a sitting together. The fact that West Brom have not used their full allocation, thus freeing up Block H has meant that more tickets are available for ''casuals'' than say perhaps against Arsenal. Ankles 0 Posted September 5, 2011 West Brom will sell out but Sunderland on Monday 26th won''t IMO
Mungo Bumpkin 0 Posted September 5, 2011 No need for any more seats at Carrow Road. Having the "sold out" boards for every game is the way to go. Don''t want hoards of fairweather/armchair Jonny-come-latelies just turning up to see the "big teams".
Lambert is King 0 Posted September 5, 2011 cant wait to be sitting in a half empty stadium for the majority of games if the stadium is expanded. What odds the first call to radio Norfolk on Sunday will be '' would have gone to the game but could not get a ticket ''lol.
BarclayCanary (Former HDDH) 0 Posted September 5, 2011 I don''t think it should go to 35k, we are at 27k at the moment I would say 28-30k and that''s it.Anymore and armchair fans would just come along and watch.
im spartacus canary 0 Posted September 5, 2011 i had an impaired view for the stoke game.. and if that is there idea of impaired then a obstructed view must be sat in a blindfold with a guide dog which barks when norwich are attacking [:D]
itsnowornever 0 Posted September 6, 2011 what doesnt help is the away prices for WBA fans. WBA at sunderland price adult £28. U16s only £10. WBA have taken their full allocation of 3000 for that away game. Compare that with our ticket prices. No comparison. £20 for U16s - ridiculous
nutty nigel 7,509 Posted September 6, 2011 Not really. It''s all about gate receipts and not attendences. Sunderland are likely to have 40,000 against WBA. Their gate receipts will be a lot more than ours even with cheaper casual prices. We have to make up the differences if we are to compete with Sunderland. And if we can''t compete with Sunderland we will probably never be more than relegation candidates.

Because we scrapped the pre-adult casual category WBA fans aged between 16 and 20 have to decide whether they can afford to fork out £35. That is bound to keep some away, especially as it''s a televised game. There is plainly a link between the prices we charge pre-adult away fans and the fact that we only sold out the ground twice last season, and with the attendance for the non-TV Stoke game, which was 400-500 short of our new effective capacity. barclaystand 0 Posted September 8, 2011 156 tickets left in the home area at the moment. Just counted them all on the online ticketing page.Maybe I should find something more useful to do tonight!
