Chris for Wes?

Recommended Posts

Not similar positions granted, but a different line-up would have pleased me more.

Chris had a decent game as part of a more than decent all-round performance. Yet he was on the fringes for most of the first half.

I think that Hoolihan might well have created more for us, albeit with one less striker. Stoke were extremely vulnerable after our goal.

Not criticism, how could it be, just thoughts.

Thats how i would have played it. Exactly the same line up but Wes in

for Martin and have him just in that hole linking midfeild and defence.

Would have caused stoke a few more problems through the middle which we

didnt really do all match and also i think wes would have helped us hold

onto the ball and releive a bit more pressure in the 2nd half when

stoke where really pushing for the equalised. Also i would have brought

on Fox for Martin not Jackson but there you go.
