The Great Drinkell 50 Posted January 10, 2005 After our loss to the @ammers yesterday i was in my normal reflective mode whilst tileing the bathroom, we had no natural- sorry proven - goalscorer to worry the defence so we played Jonnson - of whom I am becoming a fan. Why didin''t we play Paul Mcveigh? he can hold a ball uphe can run at defenders and he can score goals from anywhere ( evidents is on "Worthy Champions" DVD) after all Flecky never won many headers did he.Who are we going play alongsides Ashton? ZLF 274 Posted January 10, 2005 No one - the rest of our squad seems to work well in a 4-5-1 and Ashton will become the one, with Svensson his back up or Mackenzie his partner if we are chasing the game.Interesting to see Worthy quoted as looking to get another striker though...
