Norwich City Shirt

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else have the same problem as me?
For the last few years the logo on the front
of the shirts goes all fluffy and horrible if
you wash it too many times.

The Colmans one and the Digital Phone ones were
really bad, and now the Proton one is just as bad.
Is there not another material they could use?

Your Thoughts....

Don''t wash it! Mine only gets washed in the summer for fear of washing out all the good home form. Mind you I only unveil mine once a fortnight over about 7 jumpers.

hand washing is good for it. If you rub your thumb over the badge while wet the fluffy bits come out. But the little yellow edging on the proton badge has gone white almost. Still a fantastic shirt though one of the best. I wish when you washed the yellow and green flecky shirt, all the green flecky bits rubbed off, that shirt was sick!

it seems to me that our kit is getting better every year. when we had the old colman shirts they were made of cotton or something and they were quite horrible! there was no give in them at all. i would like it if the sponsors were printed into the shirt so it was the same material. other than that i am very pleased for moneys worth.

Had to say I feel the same! You know I wear the Norwich shirt, shorts and socks to play football in Hong Kong, so actually I had to wash it quite frequently! The logo was already fill with dust but it is a problem that never been solved -- unless you never wear the shirt to go outside had walk or drink!

I think it is fine for me about the Norwich shirt was with dirt and dust, you should see the same as the PLAYER shirt too.

Wow what a response !
I think the answer is simple. Never wash it. Just keep
wearing it until it gets filthy, then buy a new one ha!

I will try wiping my hand over as somebody suggested
above though.

Thanks for all your comments.

I must also agree that this shirt is probably one of the
best we have had, especially when you compare it to
some of the other boring shirts in the league (ie binmens)

Shaun.

Ive found using a bit of sellotape over the Lotus emblem takes the fluff off but I hate doing it.. and by the way Kathy pour white wine over the red and it will come out!

sorry to have to post a reply to this!! what a thread lol

the way you get the fluff and stuff of the logo is to go over the area with double sided sellotape
it takes a while but it works, come on guys, surely you should know this

as for washing them, i have had my away shirt since the start of the season and it still looks new - and has been washed many times, you are all obviously washing them in harsh detergents, use a non bleach washing powder, plenty of conditioner and do not tumble dry

easy folks!!
